Granted Hank Mobley has better LP's and all of those have two or more horns and here he tried to used Milt as his 2nd horn (in theory should be good) but now that leaves out all the horn line trade-off's Hank was the master of totally "Out of Play" and Bag's did his best to be the bounce off guy for trades with Hank/5(4).

  4. May 05,  · I have extensive contacts from around the world so when I tell you that I know of no one who's seen any video of Hank Mobley that is saying a lot. I've been looking for Mobley video for at least years and I'm still looking and I'm still hopeful. Mobley spent a couple of years in Paris hanging and playing with Philly Joe Jones and also Art.

  7. Jun 24,  · Tough decision. All those albums are great, but I think my favorite is "Hank Mobley And His All Stars" with Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins and Art Blakey. However, I also really love "Dippin'" and "A Caddy For Daddy".
