On the album Zooropa U2 left rock traditions more bravely - the full-length had elements of techno and electronica, noticeable on the singles Lemon, Numb, Stay (Faraway, So Close!) and leestahealmesinaravecemumabi.coinfo this album, U2 made soundtracks for films Batman Forever, Mission Impossible and wrote the theme song for the picture about James Bond GoldenEye.

4. Last year Wim took a break from editing his film and U2 took a break from recording Zooropa, to talk on the phone about films, the Zoo TV tour, the new Europe and media fatigue. Bono [in Dublin]: The song we're most sure about [from the upcoming album, Zooropa] is the one we've called "Faraway, So Close!", like the film.

5. Jul 05,  · “Stay (Faraway, So Close!)” was a tribute to Frank Sinatra. The most traditionally U2-sounding song on Zooropa is also one of the band’s best, and it was a tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes.

6. The single appeared on the album Zooropa. Two different CD singles were issued: The Swing Format featured Lemon remixes by David Morales and Oakenfold & Osborne. The Live Format featured Slow Dancing and live versions of Love Is Blindness and Bullet The Blue Sky as b-sides. Formats: Stay (Faraway, So Close!) 7" (UK) IS Stay (Faraway, So Close!).
